About Progressive Die & Stamping
Progressive Die & Stamping Inc. (PDS) was founded by Benedict J. Perron, as B & R Tool Company in 1967 in Terryville, CT. Mr. Perron was one of six that won "The Outstanding Apprentice Award" from the Connecticut Metal Working Trades in 1958. Mr. Perron is also a graduate of Class of 56, Goodwin Tech in New Britain, CT.
With a few years of business under his belt, his wife joined him in the business, in those days you would find Patricia (Pat )Perron, who worked on the production line and filled any void that was needed; currently as President, she runs the day to day administrative functions of the business. Duane Perron, Vice President runs the operations, including, quality control, production and sales department.
Mr. and Mrs. Perron moved their business to Tennessee in 1992, with the economic opportunities and forecasted growth of the area along with their desire to retire in Tennessee, the company was relocated and renamed Progressive Die & Stamping, Inc.
Our location in Algood, Tennessee continues to grow and expand. Upon arrival, PDS was 15,000 square feet of manufacturing area, three years later we expanded to 23,000 square feet and with business increasing, an additional 4,000 square feet will be added. PDS is now 27,000 and expanding.
PDS is now with the next generation of management as Duane T. Perron, now Vice President continues the tradition of being up front and honest while assuring the best Quality and Service with Aggressive pricing that has been a mainstay of Progressive Die & Stamping Inc. since its inception. Focusing on keeping the production in the United States and bringing back production, Duane, representing the new generation brings his own flare and approach to the family business.
At an early age Ben. Perron decided to make this trade his and has never looked back, what he and his family run company bring to you is a straight forward approach of his personal experiences of being in this trade for more than 50 years and counting, PDS would like the opportunity to do is sit with you and openly discuss the ways we can work together as a team and a partnership to allow this trade to grow back into the pride it once in this United States of America, we support the Vocational schools and would like to see out government do more to keep these JOBS here in the states. It can all start with a simple "hello".
